Boys and Girls,
Today is a very exciting day indeed! That's because today is the first day of my new series, "Celebrity Impressions." I can't tell you how many times people have said to me "Karina, you do such amazingly realistic impressions of famous celebrities and/or the characters they play...you should start your own vlog series which features this highly impressive talent!" Well, guess what! That's what I did!
So, behold, my first impression...Bill Cosby. Or rather Cliff Huxtable...his infamous character on the Cosby Show. Tell your friends!
As always,
Karina

My loyal Schmlogateers,
I have just arrived home from Europe! If you'll recall, I left MN in early September to work as a program assistant for the Carleton New Media Seminar, which studied new media in NYC, London, Amsterdam, and Berlin. During this time I took a lot of video, but failed to have time to edit videos to show to you. For this I am truly sorry. If it's any consolation to you, I did have lots of fun! It was great! After the trip, my mom and her fiance, and my boyfriend flew out and met me in Berlin. We traveled through Germany, then flew to Scotland, and then made our way back to London. It was a great time and we saw a lot. For proof, check out my photos!
I was sad to leave Europe, but for the last few weeks I had become somewhat anxious to get home. I really loved all the countries I visited, but I was missing a lot of things about the US and Minnesota.
One of those things was Chipotle. That is why I went there tonight, my first night back, with a few of my friends and had a huge chicken burrito, chips and guac, and free-refills of Diet Coke. It was wonderful. And SO CHEAP after being in London! Yikes!
Anyway, as I mentioned in my last pathetic post, I have a few ideas up my sleeves so keep a heads up to my doings. I don't have a steady job until I go back to work for Carleton after their winter break ends right after the New Year. So I have no excuse. NONE. Videos will be made.
Cheers!,
Karina

Dear Friends,
I'm sorry I haven't updated this in forever. I'm a sucky sucky sucky person/vlogger. I've been traveling a lot (for proof visit my flickr). There have been many a time when I've started to edit a video, but then I've got caught up in other traveling doings. I'm sorry.
I'll be back home in MN in the next 5 days. And I have 2 vlog series ("series") in the works that I'm pretty excited about it, so do check back in the next week or so.
Again, I'm really sorry. Please have mercy on me.
Love always and forever,
Karina
Hey, I'm leaving for Amsterdam now. Look at all the videos I posted. I am the worst videoblogger. But you should still subscribe. I think I'll have more time in amsterdam and I have PLENTY O FOOTAGE. That's for sure. But guess what. I DO have a video. It doesn't feature me, which I know is dissapointing for you. BUT it was made by me. Check it out. It features our visit with John Mhiripiri from the Anthology Film Archives. Try it. You'll like it.

Love you. Don't hate me, Karina
Videos forthcoming (once I've settled in to London).
Stay with me folks,
Karina
Hi Everyone,
So yesterday was my birthday (Sept 27th). I'm 23. That's old. Dang. I better do something with my life, right?
Anyway, yesterday was a normal day until about 9:00am...when I GOT STUCK IN A F-ING ELEVATOR!
I was in there for about 15 minutes or so with Susan, a program participant, and friend. Luckily she had her digital camera with her to capture the moment. I was decently freaked out but through the power of denial and humor, Susan and I made the best of it. Check out my flickr accout in the sidebar of the blog, or here is a link to a random photo of the disaster.
An exciting way to start your birthday!
Hey Schmlogkabobs,
Sorry it has been a while since my last update. I've been super duper busy. For proof, check out the The Program Blog. We do lots of things.
On the 26th I went to see the Raconteurs. They were AMAZING! I love them love them love them. I got to hear two songs that I had never heard them play live..."Headin' for the Texas border" and "5 on the 5." It was really really great. But all in all I have to say I enjoyed the First Avenue Concert better. Probably because it was teh first time I saw them. And probably because I didn't almost pass out at that concert. At they NYC concert at the Roseland Ballroom, during Broken Boy Soldiers, I had to crouch down because I thought I was going to faint. The way the music and lights were timed was like seriously messing with me and it probably didn't help that I hadn't had much to eat that day. Anyway all that kind of messed with the end of the concert for me, but it was still really good and I bought a sweet Rob Jones signed and numbered poster that is venue and date specific.
Here's a short video (and I mean really short) that I captured on my cell phone. They were doing a cover of "Bang Bang." An amazing cover. Really really good.
